What we do
We install all four categories — traditional cool-season and warm-season blends, Kurapia, Tahoma 31, and premium synthetic. Every install goes on a properly graded sub-base with water-efficient heads (R-VAN, rotary nozzles) or built-in synthetic infill drainage.
Drought-tolerant favorites
Kurapia is a low-growing perennial groundcover that reads like lawn from ten feet away and uses about a third the water. Handles Phoenix full sun once established, tolerates moderate foot traffic. Best for lawns you look at more than you walk on.
Tahoma 31 Bermuda is a genetically improved bermuda that stays greener longer, requires ~30% less water than common bermuda, and handles heavy traffic — dogs, kids, birthday parties. It's what we recommend when the client wants "real lawn" but is water-conscious.
Traditional and premium synthetic
Standard bermuda / rye overseeded for winter color is still a valid choice if you want that lawn look year-round and you're willing to run the water bill. Synthetic (premium — Global Syn-Turf, ProGreen, SGW) makes sense for putting greens, dog runs, and small high-traffic areas where real turf gets destroyed. We install synthetic over a proper compacted base with drainage, not just rolled over dirt.
Turf for pros
Last year alone we installed 300,000–450,000 square feet of turf in cemeteries across the country. Turf isn't the enemy. Turf on a system that runs 15 minutes a day, five days a week, on spray heads that hit the fence more than the lawn — that's the enemy.
